MultiJet Printing (MJP)

Description

MultiJet Printing (MJP), also known as Wax Jet Printing, is a high-resolution additive manufacturing process that uses photopolymer or wax-like materials. It operates by jetting microscopic droplets of material layer by layer, which are then cured using UV light. This technology is excellent for producing detailed prototypes, casting patterns, and tooling masters with exceptional surface quality and accuracy.

Technical Details

  • Layer Thickness: 16 to 32 microns depending on the model material.
  • Dimensional Accuracy: ±0.05mm or better depending on geometry and size.
  • Surface Finish: Smooth; typically does not require post-processing.
  • Max Build Volume: Approximately 294 x 211 x 144 mm (depending on machine).
  • Support Material: Wax-based and easily removed with heat or solvent.
